There’s nothing wrong with not feeling anything for anyone.

I met Chioma Obiajulu sometime last year, amazing girl. She’d oftentimes tell me, “See, I don’t feel Jack for anyone, it feels like I’m not normal”. I couldn’t relate, I was all about Osi. A guy I met as a JUPEB student in University of Nigeria. How we went from “thing” to “total strangers” is an inexpiable tragedy.

Unnecessary attachment with people gives you headache, pain, regret etc. Detachment against your wish is even more painful. In the end, we’re just a generation of fucked up kids with broken hearts, its lust and not love because asides the make-out nothing is really left.
Here’s how to fix a broken self- grow, progress and fucking move forward.

Akunna says she wants to own a beauty complex. Favour wants to help people living with cancer. Roseline speaks French, she wants to become an international diplomat. Go Girls! Keep moving. Be anything. Your priority in life is to stay happy, you don’t need a boyfriend or a girlfriend for that.
Don’t rush into a relationship like I did. Keep resting and not rushing, God’s timing is everything.

Cheers!

  3. Good piece. I once liked someone who I thought didn't like me. I tried everything to always get his attention, but all he wanted from me was platonic. It even got to a point that when I broke up with my then boyfriend. I made sure he was aware and wanted to try if I could be with him. It was still a dead end.

Last Christmas when we hung out, for the first time, we made out (I made the move) and I felt special, later on, I got to really know that it's not that he doesn't like me, but he's scared of hurting me (whatever that means), he wasn't ready for commitment and he wouldn't want to be involved for his own selfish interests.

I understood. Today we're great friends and I'm now with someone who deserves me more than he did.

My point? Don't rush it. What is yours will remain. Great piece, my love.
